BFO3332 – Soiled Pair

    I use a weather app: Dark Sky. It uses location service on iPhone to warn of rain 15 minutes in advance. Works well.

    Re yellow rice: I got a recipe off a bodybuilding forum for yellow rice that tastes good and is healthy. No crunchy rice either.

    10 ounce pkg yellow rice mix
    1 quart Swanson unsalted chicken stock (not broth)
    1.5 pounds chicken breast diced
    1 T olive oil
    1 t chopped garlic
    1/2 bag spinach, coarsely chopped
    Florets from a large head of broccoli
    Juice from one lime

    Sauté chicken in olive oil about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Add stock, cover, bring to a boil. Add rice mix and cook on low 10 minutes; covered.

    Add broccoli and spinach; cover and cook on low 10 more minutes.

    Remove from heat; add lime juice; cover and let stand 10 minutes.
