I never watched the Danny Thomas show or Make Room for Daddy but I did watch That Girl and loved it.
Omigod, BF, I’m beginning to think that you, Auntie Vera Charles and I are all long lost siblings. I watched “Make Room For Daddy” (the 1960s version), and, of course, “That Girl”. Do you remember Marlo in the 1985 TV movie “Consenting Adult”? It was one of the earliest gay-themed TV movies to play on American free-to-air television. America was shocked that it allowed the boy to kiss a boy and sex acts were suggested. That, and the gay boy is still alive in the final scene. Ah, the memories you stir up on your lane!
