You’re lucky to have a refrigerator last 17 years. We built our house 29 years ago but are on our fourth refrigerator.
They don’t build stuff like they used to. We also have a refrigerator in the garage that I bought off a friend when just getting started . It was made in 1978 and still going strong.
Now that I think about it, it’s a GE too. Maybe GE is the best brand.
