Here’s a recipe from the Hatarina’s recipe file:
1 stick butter and 1 stick margarine (both softened)
2 cups shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups Rice Krispies
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash or two of tabasco to taste
Using a stand mixer, cream butter and margarine. Add cheese, salt and tobasco. Gradually add flour.
Add Rice Krispies by hand.
Roll into quarter-sized balls and lightly flatten with a fork.
Bake at 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Makes about 3-4 dozen.
