We have a Maytag refrigerator with a water filter.
The filter is supposed to last 6 months, but after 3 to 4 months the ice maker stops working. Have to put in a new $50 filter. Starts working again within 24 hours.
Don’t know if we use so much water and ice that we wear out the filter faster or our city water is so polluted that it clogs the filter. Think it’s the latter because, well if alcohol is available, who wants water?
