I had a health spending account managed by Bank of America where they charged a monthly inactivity fee after I was no longer employed at the Cracker Factory. While I was working there, they didn’t charge the fee, but as soon as I was laid off, they deducted something like $10 a month. Can you imagine taking money earmarked for healthcare away from unemployed people? That’s Henry F. Potter level evil.
