No wonder the SSQD&DA has been unable to spot Miss Patty Bacon at the Twist Cone. I’m told Needrebar is in *North* Dakota, not *South* Dakota. Darn this 1989 Garmin Navigator!
It’s so disorienting out here. And dark.
The nice young man working at the counter of the Twist Cone advised the SSQD&DA to stay on 5th Ave. NW and the road will start heading north just after you pass the Bowling Alley. The North Dakota Welcome Center is only 40 miles up the road.
And so the SSQD&DA trudges out into the spring night, in disguise (ssshhh!), looking for Miss Patty Bacon.
We hope the restrooms at the North Dakota Welcome Center are clean.
